In 1954, in the heart of Viareggio's harbour, a small tavern for fishermen was founded by Miro Ghilarducci.

Today, Ristorante da Miro is run by his daughter Amalia, his nephews Daniele and Manuela, and his son-in-law Vincenzo, all of whom share Miro's passion for fresh fish. Our fish is bought primarily from local fishermen and cooked following the traditions of Viareggio with some added innovations.

This is a family history, built on tradition and a love of fish.

    At da Miro, we credit Viareggio with fame as the most important town in Versilia, with the sea on one side and the white peaks of the Apuan Alps on the other.

    With fish as the focus of our dishes, we compose simple dishes that express sublime flavours. All our fish is always fresh, and is chosen at the source to guarantee dishes of the highest quality.

In fact, we have a large, well-stocked wine cellar with over 700 labels of national and international wines and champagne to faithfully accompany the gastronomic journey of fresh fish specialties proposed by our chef.
